The System for automated meter reading with IR (VSS ORD IR APP^®) is used for reading digital meters with IR probe using smart phones.

VSS ORD IR APP^®runs on two communication platforms.

• USB connection with mobile phone
• Bluetooth connection with mobile phone

VSS ORD IR APP^® enables wireless meter reading and parameterization of meters per protocols: IEC 62056-21 and DLMS/COSEM.

IR Probe is placed on meter with optical probe and secured by a magnet, to establish a communication with mobile phone where VSS ORD IR APP^® is located.

VSS ORD IR APP^® as a module (subsystem) can be added to basic VSS ORD^® System which allows very efficient and continuous reading of meters on the field, regardless of type of the meter.
